A true seaside resort
Hoek van Holland has a long, rich history. It used to be home for the workers on the Nieuwe Waterweg. The world's most impressive ships enter the Netherlands along this shipping lane. You can admire them all from the pier. If you fancy seeing the ships up close, you can book one of the tours. Today, Hoek van Holland is flourishing as a seaside resort. The beach is 250 metres wide and runs for 3.5 kilometres. This area is great to visit any time of year. In summer, you can chill out on the beach, or relax at the many beach clubs and cool off in the North Sea. At other times of year, you can go for stunning walks or cycle through the dunes. The possibilities are endless, thanks to its central location.

Rotterdam is an international city. This place, with one of the largest ports in the world, has plenty to offer. Explore this port city by water taxi and end the day in the Witte de Withstraat, over dinner or a drink at restaurant Hamburg or Ter Marsch & Co.
Johannes Vermeer and Delft Blue
The rich past is brought back to life in Delft. Johannes Vermeer was born here, and partly because of this, but also because of Delft Blue, the city enjoys fame worldwide. In the city centre you can find many impressive buildings, such as the town hall. Narrow streets and canals add even more colour to the past. Delft is further distinguished as one of the largest student towns in the Netherlands.
