The popular seaside resort of Scheveningen is just a few kilometers from your beach house. Scheveningen is known as an authentic fishing village with its many fish restaurants and delicious, fresh fish. Here you will also find several museums with, in particular, genuine Scheveningen historical sites: Museum Beelden aan Zee, Historisch Muzee Scheveningen and Atlantikwall Museum Scheveningen.
The Pier & ‘Vlaggetjesdag’
De Pier is one of the most visited places in Scheveningen. In fact, a visit to De Pier is a must when you are in Scheveningen. A beautiful view and wonderful fresh air in the middle of the sea during a walk on the boulevard. There are also various, cozy catering establishments for a snack or a drink. Every year, in May / June, the fresh Dutch New herrings arrive. This day is known as ‘Vlaggetjesdag’.

On the beautiful beach, a stone's throw from your beach house, are two beautiful beach pavilions: Habana Beach & Suiderstrand. You enjoy the full sun throughout the day thanks to the favorable location of the pavilions. The restaurants have an extensive outdoor terrace, but staying in is no problem. Wake up in the morning with a delicious breakfast, have lunch in the afternoon or enjoy the evening sun on the terrace.

The Sand Motor was constructed off the coast. This is a peninsula of sprayed sand that will spread through the wind, waves and currents over the South Holland coast in the coming years.
