Swimming under the stars

The concrete swimming pool on the roof of the villa is finished with aquabright onyx for a unique look. The spacious terrace is elevated to ensure maximum privacy. Covered in pine wood, it is the perfect place to sunbathe and relax. Facing the green farmlands and the Serra da Arrabida hills, you can watch the sunset from here as you listen to the ocean. The controlled temperature of the pool allows for night-time swimming under the stars. A breathtaking experience.

Clean, silky sand

The villa is only a couple of metres from Pego Beach which has been voted Portugal's best beach for several years on account of the water quality and clean, silky sand. Pego Beach is extremely long and offers plenty of privacy if you are looking for it. This is the perfect place to get away from the crowds.

One of the most photographed sites in Portugal

In Carrasqueira you will find the Palafito Pier. It is one of the most photographed sites in Portugal and the only one of its kind in all of Europe. This ancient fishing pier was built by fishermen and they have maintained it throughout the ages. Without a proper infrastructure, the fishermen improvised a pier using a wooden frame. The fragile appearance has changed over the years. At low tide on certain autumn and winter days, the pier takes on a certain mysterious and melancholy atmosphere that words fail to describe and make you feel like you have travelled back in time.

The new Ibiza

Comporta is sometimes referred to as the new Ibiza. For those who find Ibiza too crowded nowadays, this is the perfect destination. An hour's drive from Lisbon airport, Comporta is located on the Tróia peninsula in the Alentejo region. Pearly white beaches, tranquillity and laid-back vibe. Comporta symbolises quiet enjoyment, the beach life, the food, nature with all its flamingos and storks and enjoying organic and locally grown produce.

Total privacy and relaxation

Casa do Pego has a private sunny terrace with a heated swimming pool, garden, foredeck with a spectacular view and an inner courtyard for total privacy and relaxation.

  • Hand in hand

Pedro Ferreira Pinto designed the villa. Minimalism, pure, natural materials such as glass, wood and concrete go hand in hand.
  • Ongoing art project

You will find numerous iconic mid-century modern classics in Villa Casa do Pego. The villa is an ongoing art project. The suspended open fireplace and heated floor make the villa an irresistible destination all year round.
  • Sculpted like a sand dune

As a result of choosing native plant species such as pine trees, the garden seamlessly flows into the surrounding area. Sculpted like a sand dune, accented with typical plant species common to dunes and beaches, you will feel one with nature.
