Farmers, shepherds and fishers
In ancient times, when Mykonos was not the popular tourist destination it is today, local residents lived as farmers, shepherds and fishers. They often built a small one-room hut in the areas where they kept their flocks to provide shelter against inclement weather, sun, wind or rain. They called this place a cell. Shepherd’s Cell is one of these structures that has been fully converted into a modern studio for two people.
Shepherd's Cell harmoniously embraces the rocks that were already here and covers an area of roughly 20 square metres.
